Overview
The Crest WSL is the high-precision slitter rewinder & laminator engineered for tension-sensitive conversion of flexible films, foils and specialty foams. It integrates pneumatic circular slitting, loop-controlled center winding and an optional inline lamination station to perform slitting, rewinding and lamination in one pass while preventing material deformation and telescoping.

Process flow (example)
PASS 1: Foam activation & adhesive coating
The specialty foam is unwound and passed through the Corona Treatment Unit to increase surface energy. A high-tack adhesive is laminated under precise nip pressure to guarantee strong bonding.

PASS 2: Plastic backing application & final slitting
The laminated adhesive foam roll is fed back into the line. The backing film is laminated onto the adhesive side (Corona off) and pneumatic circular knives slit the laminate to exact customer widths.
