La scheda madre µATX a ciclo di vita esteso K3842-Q supporta i processori Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 (12ª–14ª Gen./Series 2) e le famiglie Intel® Pentium®/Celeron®, ed è basata sul chipset Intel® Q670. È qualificata per funzionamento continuo 24/7 e fornisce gestione out-of-band basata su iAMT. È presente un TPM 2.0 integrato per il supporto a Windows 11. La LAN onboard è Intel® i219LM; la variante K3842-Q2 offre opzionalmente una porta Intel® i225LM aggiuntiva.
